Spice up your life! During the last challenge, the Cheftestants had to develop a retail product & if you want to try your hand at bottling a specialty sauce, make your own hot sauce!

Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 3 red bell peppers, halved, seeds discarded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Kosher salt, as needed
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 Thai red chilies

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Place red bell peppers on a sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil and kosher salt. Roast for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature.

  • Step 2

    To a blender, add cooled roasted red bell peppers, red wine vinegar, garlic, 3 Thai red chillies and more kosher salt to taste. Blend until smooth.

  • Step 3

    Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
