Asparagus Prosciutto & Cheese Tarts
ingredients
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 6 asparagus stalks, bottoms removed
- 6 rectangles Gruyère cheese, 1-inch long each
- 6 slices prosciutto
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted and cut into 6 rectangles
- 1 egg
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. On a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle six small circles of honey.
Step 2
On top of each circle of honey, place down three asparagus tops. On top of those, place a rectangle of Gruyère, then a rolled up slice of prosciutto.
Step 3
Place a rectangle of raw puff pastry on top and gently press around the sides to tuck in all the ingredients.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg plus a splash of water. Using a pastry brush, brush the egg wash on the tops of the puff pastry rectangles.
Step 5
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until pasties are golden brown. Remove from oven and serve. Enjoy!
Strawberry Kiwi Tarts
ingredients
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 6 strawberries, thinly sliced
- 1 kiwi, thinly sliced
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted and cut into 6 rectangles
- 1 egg
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. On a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle six small circles of honey.
Step 2
On top of the honey, layer on slices of strawberry and kiwi - just enough to cover the honey.
Step 3
Place a rectangle of raw puff pastry on top of the fruit and gently press around the sides to tuck in all the ingredients.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg plus a splash of water. Using a pastry brush, brush the egg wash on the tops of the puff pastry rectangles.
Step 5

Blackberry & Brie Tarts

- 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 12 blackberries, cut in half lengthwise
- 6 rectangles of brie, 1-inch long each
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted and cut into 6 rectangles
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. On a parchment lined baking sheet, drizzle six small circles of balsamic glaze.
Step 2
On top of the honey, layer on slices of blackberry - just enough to cover the balsamic glaze. On top of those, place a rectangle of Brie.
Step 3
Place a rectangle of raw puff pastry on top of the blackberries & Brie and gently press around the sides to tuck in all the ingredients.
Step 4
In a small bowl, whisk together the egg plus a splash of water. Using a pastry brush, brush the egg wash on the tops of the puff pastry rectangles.
Step 5
