We all know and love pizza bagels, but what about pizza waffles? This recipe is incredibly delicious, and so easy to make! Sandwich pizza sauce, cheese and your favorite toppings between pizza dough in your waffle maker, and cook until golden brown. The end result is a savory waffle situation that is crispy on the outside, with a gooey, cheesy center.

ingredients

  • Pizza dough
  • Pizza sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni
  • Basil, to garnish
  • Hot honey, for drizzling

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat your waffle maker and spray it with cooking oil.

  • Step 2

    Roll out your pizza dough into 2 4-inch circles.

  • Step 3

    Add 1 of the circles of dough to the waffle maker. Spread pizza sauce on top, sprinkle with cheese, and add the pepperoni. Layer the additional pizza dough on top.

  • Step 4

    Close the waffle maker and cook until golden brown and crispy.

  • Step 5

    Garnish with freshly chopped basil and a drizzle of hot honey. Serve warm.
