  • 1/2 pound ground lamb
  • 1/2 pound beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tabelspoons ketchup
  • 1 tsp Siracha
  • 1 tsp Allspice
  • 1 tabelspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried parsley leaves
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 ounce dried raisins

Sauce

ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tabelspoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tabelspoons red wine vinegar

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Step 2

    In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the sauce ingredients.

  • Step 3

    Mix together until fully incorporated.

  • Step 4

    Add the meat mixture to a loaf pan.

  • Step 5

    Make sure the loaf is even in the pan.

  • Step 6

    Bake for 55 minutes.

  • Step 7

    Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by combining the remaining ingredients in a saucepan.

  • Step 8

    Simmer for 5 minutes.

  • Step 9

    Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before serving together with the sweet sauce.
