- 1/2 pound ground lamb
- 1/2 pound beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg beaten
- 2 tabelspoons ketchup
- 1 tsp Siracha
- 1 tsp Allspice
- 1 tabelspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried parsley leaves
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 ounce dried raisins
Sauce
ingredients
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tabelspoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 tabelspoons red wine vinegar
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except for the sauce ingredients.
Step 3
Mix together until fully incorporated.
Step 4
Add the meat mixture to a loaf pan.
Step 5
Make sure the loaf is even in the pan.
Step 6
Bake for 55 minutes.
Step 7
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by combining the remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
Step 8
Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 9
Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before serving together with the sweet sauce.
