ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cups fresh cream
  • 2 teaspoons agar agar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup chocolate

Method

  • Step 1

In a medium sized saucepan, bring the coconut milk, cream and sugar to a boil. Take off the heat and whisk in the agar agar powder. Mix well until everything is well combined.

  • Step 2

Pour the mixture through the sieve to ensure there are no lumps. Let the mixture cool for 5-7 minutes, then add the vanilla extract. Mix well until everything is well combined and no lumps are visible. Divide the mixture into two bowls.

  • Step 3

Melt the chocolate in a microwave, and add it to one bowl and mix well with a whisk to ensure no lumps are there.

  • Step 4

Pour the mixture into ramekins or any serving bowls. First pour the vanilla mixture and set in the fridge for 30-45 minutes. After the vanilla mixture is semi set, pour in the chocolate mixture.

  • Step 5

Let it set in the fridge for 6-7 hours or overnight. Cover them with a cling wrap.

  • Step 6

Top it with your favorite fruits and nuts later on. Enjoy!
