for the dough
- 280 gram flour
- 180 gram boiling water
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoons salt

- 400 gram cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
Method
Step 1
Mix flour and salt, pour in the hot water, add oil and start making the dough with a spoon.
Step 2
Leave the dough for 15 minutes.
Step 3
While the dough is resting we will make the filing. Mix all the filing ingredients together.
Step 4
Roll out the dough until it's 2 mm.
Step 5
Cut the dough into round shape pieces and put 1 tbsp of filing on each of them.
Step 6
Close the edges, form the vareniki.
Step 7
You could freeze them or cook straight away. Put vareniki into salted boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Serve with a bit of butter and sour cream. Enjoy !
