Base
ingredients
- 1 cup crushed raw almonds
- 2/3 cup crushed walnuts
- 1/4 cup sweet biscuits, crushed
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
- 3/4 cup rice malt syrup
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons almond butter
- 90 grams vegan chocolate, melted
Chocolate Top Layer
ingredients
- 100 grams chopped vegan chocolate
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
Method
Step 1
Line a square baking tray with baking paper. Set aside. Combine all the base ingredients into a large bowl. Get your hands involved to combine the mixture.
Step 2
Transfer the thick mixture into the tray and mold with your hands.
Step 3
Refrigerate the base overnight.
Step 4
When ready to serve, melt the chocolate topping ingredients in a microwave safe bowl until smooth. Pour over the top and return to fridge until firm. Slice and enjoy!
