ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained, skins removed (optional to remove skins)
  • 1 medium freshly juiced lemon
  • 3-4 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, plus more for serving if desired
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    In a food processor, or high-powered blender, combine all of the hummus ingredients. Blend until creamy. Add additional water if it’s too thick.

  • Step 2

    Using a spatula, scrape the hummus into a serving bowl or plate. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with desired toppings.

  • Step 3

    Place hummus bowl on a serving board. Add chopped vegetables, crackers, or bread around the hummus for dipping. Dip, eat, and enjoy!
