- 1 pound angel hair pasta
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/ 2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- kosher salt, as needed
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente (about 9 minutes). Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
Return the pasta to the pot you cooked it in an add butter, garlic powder, parmesan cheese and kosher salt to taste. Stir until the butter has melted. Add a little of the reserved pasta water as needed to create a silky sauce.
