ingredients
- 400 grams extra firm tofu
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup rice syrup
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- Sesame seeds
- Green onions
Method
Step 1
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces. Fry it in the air fryer for 20 minutes at 190 °C.
Step 2
Put the sesame oil, rice vinegar, rice syrup, ketchup, brown sugar and soy sauce on a bowl. Mix it well. Heat oil on a pan. Place it on medium heat.
Step 3
Add the garlic. Cook it for 1-2 minutes or until it becomes light brown and fragrant. Add the sauce mixture. Stir occasionally for 1-2 minutes.
Step 4
Add the tofu. Coat it well with the sauce mixture. Serve with some sesame seeds and green onions on top.
