  • 450 grams all-purpose flour
  • 65 grams sugar
  • 30 grams cocoa powder
  • 3 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 300 grams unsweetened soy milk ⁣
  • 45 grams dairy free butter ⁣



  • 1/4 cup coconut chocolate fudge sauce ⁣
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar


  • Step 1

    Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. ⁣

  • Step 1

    In a stand mixer, combine flour, cocoa powder, yeast, sugar, salt and milk. Mix on low speed with the dough hook until a rough ball begins to form. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes. Add the butter and continue to mix on low-medium speed with the hook attachment until the dough comes together, about 10-12 minutes more. Smooth the dough. Cover and let let proof for 1 hour, until doubled in size. ⁣⁣⁣

  • Step 2

    Roll dough into a rectangle using a floured rolling pin. Spread the chocolate sauce over the dough, leaving 1/2 inch around the edge. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly on top. ⁣

  • Step 3

    Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. Beginning at long end of each rectangle, roll up tightly. Pinch seams to seal. Use a piece of thread or dental floss, cut slices by sliding the thread under the cinnamon roll log and pulling tightly as they cross over in opposite directions. Place the rolls in the prepared baking pan.⁣ Cover and let rest for 1 hour.⁣

  • Step 4

    Preheat oven to 350ºF. Brush the coconut oil evenly over the rolls. Bake for 20 minutes, until rolls are lightly golden around the edges and centers are puffed and cooked thoroughly. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
