- 5 medium potatoes, grated
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage or Brussels sprouts
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/3 cup plus 2 teaspoons buckwheat flour
- 2 tablespoons flax seed, mixed with 5 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt, as needed
- black pepper, as needed
- Breadcrumbs, for coating
- Oil, for pan frying
Method
Step 1
Mix the cabbage and potatoes in a bowl with the garlic, buckwheat flour, flax seed mixture, paprika, salt and pepper. Form the dough into pieces and roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan, add the nuggets and cook until crispy.
