A Note From Molly Adams

You should be cooking more lamb. Hear us out. Although you may think of it as tough and "gamey", Lamb raised wild range and grass fed is tender and packed with protein, iron and vitamin B 12. Lamb can be slow cooked, ground for burgers, grilled and roasted and offers a nice flavor contrast to the more widely used beef. Take a look at a few of our favorite ways to use Lamb on this feed and give a few of the recipes a try soon!

Lamb and caramelized apricots? Say no more. Lamb is a meat that goes particularly well with sweet fruits like the apricot. Many tagines combine lamb and dried apricot, but caramelized apricot takes it to a new level.

Making fruit molasses is a wonderful way to add a burst of flavor to both sweet and savory dishes. I love that this recipe includes a blood orange molasses, made from pomegranate arils, sugar, water, blood orange juice, cassis balsamic vinegar and mint leaves. Sounds delicious!
