Diwali is known for celebrating with exceptional dessert offerings. Here's a super easy chocolate bark that comes together with very few ingredients- Melted chocolate is flavored with cardamom and then set to firm with edible rose petals and chopped pistachios-but any toppings of your choice work well here!

ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups vegan chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon regular unsalted or vegan butter
  • 3/4 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons roasted salted pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dried rose pedals, crushed for sprinkling

Method

  • Step 1

    Melt the chocolate and butter in a microwave.

  • Step 2

    Add the cardamom powder and mix to combine.

  • Step 3

    Spread parchment paper on a baking sheet and pour the chocolate mixture atop.

  • Step 4

    Sprinkle pistachios and rose pedals evenly over top.

  • Step 5

    Place into the freezer to firm. Once hardened, break into pieces and serve. Keep refrigerated.
