ingredients
- 1 medium loaf of rustic bread
- 1 (8-10 oz) wheel of brie
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans
- Fresh rosemary, chopped
- Pomegranate seeds, for garnish
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Honey (optional), for drizzling
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Step 2
Use the wheel of brie to trace a circle in the center of the bread and remove the excess bread to create a cavity. Spoon half of the cranberry sauce and chopped pecans into the center.
Step 3
Cut 1-inch slices around the edge of the bread, ensuring not to cut all the way to the bottom to keep the loaf intact.
Step 4
Score the top of the brie and place it into the hollowed-out center of the bread.
Step 5
Spoon the remaining cranberry sauce over the brie, followed by the remaining chopped pecans, chopped rosemary, and pomegranate seeds.
Step 6
Use the melted butter to brush over the bread tabs.
Step 7
Place the bread in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the brie is melted and bubbling.
Step 8
Drizzle honey over the top for an added touch of sweetness, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
