ingredients

  • 1 tablespoons minced Fresh Ginger
  • 2 fresh Scallions
  • 2 teaspoons toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 cups dry White Rice
  • 2 1/4 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoons Sea Salt
  • 2 teaspoons toasted Sesame Seeds

Method

  • Step 1

    Chop the two scallions and add only the whites to a saucepan with your sesame oil over medium heat. Saute for 1 minute.

  • Step 2

    Add rice into saucepan and stir to coat rice with sesame oil and scallions mixture.

  • Step 3

    Add water and salt to saucepan, bring water to a boil and then reduce heat to low and simmer until rice is tender. Should take around 20 minutes.

  • Step 4

    Remove rice from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.

  • Step 5

    Garnish finished rice with toasted sesame seeds and scallion greens.
