- 1/2 sweet yellow onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 pound cooked bacon, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 (28 ounce) can Tuttorosso Italian Inspirations Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
- 1/3 cup fresh chopped parsley
- 12 ounces pappardelle pasta
Method
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened and translucent.

Add the coarsely chopped bacon and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for another 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the bacon is crispy and the garlic is fragrant.
