Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 package Udon, (comes with 3 bags)
  • 1 pound ribeye steak, Shabu Shabu Beef ( you can use chicken or salmon) If you cannot find Shabu Shabu beef, you can use ribeye steak and cut it ultra-thin
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 can corn
  • Fried eggs
  • Cayenne Pepper, optional
  • Sriracha, optional
  • Rice Seasoning, optional

Beef Marinade

ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar, or honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook the udon for 2 mins then drain and rinse it under cold water.

  • Step 2

    Slice the beef thinly or use shabu beef.

  • Step 3

    Add all of the ingredients for the sauce (soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and honey or sugar). Marinade the meat with the sauce, aside until ready to stir fry.

  • Step 4

    Heat a skillet or wok, add oil and the onions, then the beef and cook it until its med-rare.

  • Step 5

    Add in the noodles and quickly stir fry. Add in the corn once everything is incorporated.

  • Step 6

    Fry some eggs, top it off, add some rice seasoning, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Serve immediately.
