Recipe Intro From alexawhatsfordinner
If you love strong vodka cocktails and salty snacks, this dirty pickle martini is for you. Pickle brine, homemade dill pickle-infused vodka, and vermouth are combined to make this salty sip. Garnish the beverage with stuffed olives and cornichon pickles for some added pickle flavor.
Recipe Description
This recipe has become a viral sensation on social media, with good reason. Infusing the vodka evokes a savory, herbaceous flavor that acts as the base of the cocktail. When making the drink, pickle brine intensifies the salty, slightly acidic flavor.
The garnishes are equally as important as the ingredients in the cocktail itself. We created skewers using garlic-stuffed green olives, cornichon pickles, and feta-stuffed castelvetrano olives. Paired with the drink itself, this cocktail tastes like a total snack and would go well paired with your favorite deviled egg recipe or crispy onion ring recipe!

Test Kitchen Notes
Infusing the Vodka: Infusing vodka and other spirits, requires time and patience. The longer you allow mix-ins to infuse, the more intense the flavor will be. We recommend infusing the vodka for 3-7 days.
Drink Intensity: This recipe calls for 4-6 ounces of vodka, to make 2 cocktails. For a stronger beverage, use the full 6 ounces. For a lighter beverage, use 4 ounces of vodka.
Flavor profile: The kind of vodka you use can impact the flavor of the cocktail itself. Plain vodka makes for the perfect base to make this drink. For a more robust flavor, you could also make this drink with a grain-based vodka. We do not recommend making this cocktail with flavored or fruit vodka.
