- 1/ 2 pound ground beef 80/20
- 1/ 2 teaspoon adobo seasoning
- 1/ 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/ 2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 sweet onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- Cheddar cheese
Form the meat into even sized patties. Season with adobo, salt, and pepper.
Cook the beef on a plancha or large skillet on medium until almost all brown.
Add the onion and peppers and cook for another 2-3 min.
Form the meat into a strip in the center then top with cheese.
Torch/ cover and let the cheese melt.
To assemble: spread one or both sides of the toasted bread with ketchup and mayo. Top with the meat, tomatoes, lettuce, and pepperoncini. Cut in half and enjoy!
