"So this week and next I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite photos I’ve taken of foraged foods throughout the US over the years.
.
.
When living in south Florida, finding wild edible mushrooms come far and few in between.
.
.
Though, if you’re lucky enough, you’ll stumble upon this Indigo Milkcap (Lactarius indigo). Vibrantly blue in color, oozing a blue milk when cut, these mushrooms can be harvested and made into delicious creamy blue soups.
.
.
Be sure to stay tuned for more foraged goods across America!
.
.
Oh and get ready for my interview with @welcome_to_mushroom_hour Podcast coming soon!"
