ingredients
- 1 camembert wheel
- 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon chipotle adobo
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 pat of butter
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Chives, to taste
- a few slices of toasted ciabatta
Method
Step 1
Place camembert in a baking dish, I like using one that's the same size as the wheel of cheese to hold shape and then placing it inside a cast iron pan or a larger dish.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix honey, olive oil, and adobo. Score camembert wheel to create a criss-cross pattern. Spread the chipotle honey all over the cheese and bake at 400F for 10-15 min
Step 3
Add butter to a pan and toast the almonds until golden. Add almonds atop cheese, season with salt, pepper, and chives to your liking. Serve with toasted ciabatta.
