Vegan and Gluten Free Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

We've already established that Tahini cookies are crazy good. This recipe is hits all the notes with tahini, chocolate chips, and secret ingredient, almond extract. Not to mention these chewy cookie bars are gluten free AND vegan!


Cook time 25mins


  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/ 3 cup tahini, runny
  • 1/ 4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons liquid coconut oil
  • 3/ 4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/ 2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/ 2 cup chocolate chips, or chocolate chunks


  • Step 1

    Mix almond flour and baking powder in a medium sized bowl. In a separate bowl mix all the wet ingredients and combine with the dry.

  • Step 2

    Fold in oats and chocolate chips or chunks. Bake in an 8x11 pan at 375F for 25 minutes. Cool completely and cut into bars!
