Truffles are such a decadent treat but it's so easy to make! Chocolate, plant or nut milk or cream is all you need to make a delicious ganache, the base for this delicious vegan dessert. This recipe is reminiscent of our favorite bite size chocolate and hazelnut treat!

ingredients

  • 1 bar (3.5 ounce) chocolate
  • 5 ounces pitted dates
  • 3 1/2 ounce pecans
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 12 toasted hazelnuts

Method

  • Step 1

    In a bowl slowly melt one bar of dark vegan chocolate. In your food processor pulse the pitted dates with pecans and cacao powder.

  • Step 2

    Wet your hands and form about 10-12 little balls. While shaping them place one (roasted) hazelnut in the center. Cover with chocolate and sprinkle with bits of hazelnuts. Let harden and store in the fridge. Holds up to 5 days. Enjoy!
