Recipe Card

ingredients

  • 1/2 cup simple syrup
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 2 large limes, juiced
  • 2 ounces Tequila
  • Ice, for serving
  • Salt, for rim
  • Lime wheels, to garnish

For the simple syrup

ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Method

  • Step 1

    Make the simple syrup: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water and sugar. Bring to a boil and stir until dissolved. Let cool. Can be made ahead.

  • Step 2

    Add the simple syrup, blueberries, and fresh lime juice to a small blender and blend until mixed well. Strain mixture through a sieve.

  • Step 3

    Prepare two serving glasses with sea salt rims. Add ice and tequila to a glass pitcher. Add the blueberry mixture and mix well. Pour the margaritas into the prepared glasses, garnish with limes and serve.
