- 4 pieces of rye bread, lightly buttered
- 2 eggs
- 1/ 3 cup feta
- 1/ 2 cup of your choice (grated) cheese
- pinch of salt
- pinch of dried oregano
In a bowl add the eggs, salt, feta and grated cheese and mix fully until combined. Add a few tablespoons of the mixture on top of each slice of buttered bread and spread it out all the way to the crust.
On a low rack put your oven on BROIL ( top broiler on ) and keep a very close eye on them. Broil for about 10 minutes or until golden and firm to the touch. Garnish with dried oregano and serve while hot.
