Hibiscus syrup

ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup hibiscus flowers

Method

  • Step 1

    Add water, sugar and hibiscus flowers in a pot. Cook on low heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.

  • Step 2

    Strain and let syrup cool before use

Cocktail

ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1/2 ounce Lillet blanc
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce Hibiscus
  • 4 strawberries
  • Course salt, for garnish
  • Edible flowers, for garnish
  • Lime wedge, for garnish

  • Step 1

    Muddle strawberries in a cocktail shaker.

  • Step 2

    Add the rest of the ingredients. Fill with ice and shake.

  • Step 3

    Strain into a salt/flower rimmed glass with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge
