ingredients

  • 8 ounces halloumi
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Spicy or regular honey, for drizzling
  • Parsley, to garnish

Method

  • Step 1

    Cut the halloumi into 1” strips. Make sure to pat it dry with a paper towel.

  • Step 2

    Press each piece into the sesame seeds.

  • Step 3

    Heat a skillet on medium heat then add in the olive oil.

  • Step 4

    Pan-fry the halloumi for 1-2 minutes per side.

  • Step 5

    Transfer to a plate and pour any extra sesame seeds from the pan onto the cheese. drizzle with hot honey and chopped parsley
