ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup Cascadian Farm Frozen Broccoli Florets
  • 1/4 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or avocado oil

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook Cascadian Farm Frozen Broccoli Florets according to package instructions.

  • Step 2

    Cook quinoa according to package instructions.

  • Step 3

    Add black beans to a large bowl along with the cooked broccoli. Mash using a potato masher until mostly smooth.

  • Step 4

    Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined.

  • Step 5

    Heat a large skillet over medium heat for a few minutes.

  • Step 6

    Add 1-2 tbsp of olive or avocado oil and continue to heat for a minute. 7. Form the patties of veggie burger and add to the skillet. Cook on each side for 2-3 minutes or until browned. Serve the burgers with buns & toppings of choice.
