Gluten-Free Lemon Pepper Pasta

  • 1 pound fresh gluten free linguine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmigiano Reggiano PDO, grated, plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • fresh cracked black pepper
  • reserved pasta water


  • Step 1

    Cook pasta according to package instructions, about 3 minutes for fresh pasta.

  • Step 2

    While pasta is cooking, melt butter over medium heat in a deep pan. Once butter is melted, add one ladle full of pasta water and turn off heat.

  • Step 3

    Add cooked pasta to the pan, then drizzle olive oil over top and toss to coat.

  • Step 4

    Add freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese, lemon juice, lemon zest and fresh black pepper, tossing again to coat in between each ingredient.

  • Step 5

    Serve with additional freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano PDO.
