ingredients
- 1/2 cup (113g) butter
- 1/2 cup (85g) white chocolate chips
- 1 cup (198g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (53g) light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup (120g) King Arthur Baking Gluten Free Measure for Measure Flour
- 2 tablespoons (14g) matcha powder
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line an 8 x 8 inch pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
Melt butter in microwave (or over a double boiler), then stir in white chocolate chips until combined and completely smooth.
Step 3
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the beater attachment, cream granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy. Add melted white chocolate mixture and stir until combined.
Step 4
Add King Arthur Baking Gluten Free Measure for Measure Flour and matcha powder. Stir on low speed until a thick batter forms.
Step 5
Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove pan and carefully bang the pan on countertop 2-3 times (this helps remove air from brownies and gives them a nice crinkly top)
Step 6
Return pan to oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7
Cool brownies in pan for at least an hour before cutting and serving.
