"Good Morning World ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ‘‹ Who said bouquets should only be made of flowers? ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒน Feast your eyes on another #FatayerFriday! Fatayer Friday is part of a monthly series celebrating this fun, traditional part of Arab cuisine. For this month's fatayer friday I decided to bake some savory buns. ingredients

For the 10-Minute Dough

  • 5 cups all purpose flour, divided
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yeast
  • 1/2 cup oil

ingredients

For the Fillings

  • 3 tablespoons Za'atar
  • 1 cup Kashkaval Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Pearls Black Olives,
  • 1 cup feta cheese

Method

For the 10 Minute Dough

  • Step 1

Mix 2 cups of flour, the warm water, sugar and yeast. Cover for 10 minutes. Add the oil, the rest of flour and salt, knead the dough and add more flour/water as needed. It is preferable if you let it rest for extra 5-10 minutes but that's optional.

  • Step 2

Start rolling 1/3 of your dough into a rectangle and cut the extra parts. Place your favorite stuffing, roll it and cut it using a floss or knife. Place in an oven-safe pan and bake at 370ยฐF/190ยฐC for 20-25 minutes or until it is slightly brown on top. Brush with a mixture of warm butter and rosemary.
