ingredients

  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups coconut sugar, (or maple sugar)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup gluten free oat flour
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, optional
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, optional

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 325โ„‰. Grease an 8" x 8" square pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper.

  • Step 2

    In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, coconut sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined. Then, sift in the cocoa powder, oat flour, and salt. Fold until well combined. Mix in the walnuts and chocolate chips (optional).

  • Step 3

    Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 40-50 minutes.
