ingredients

  • 8 wonton wrappers
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded Gruyère cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat, if desired)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 (10 ounce) can Red Gold Mild Diced Tomatoes + Green Chilies
  • 1/2 cup Red Gold Tomato Sauce
  • Olive oil, for greasing the pan
  • Fresh cilantro or extra jalapeño slices (optional), for garnish

Method

  • Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin with olive oil.

  • Step 2

Press wonton wrappers into the muffin tin, gently shaping them into small cups.

  • Step 3

In a bowl, combine cream cheese, goat cheese, ¼ cup Gruyère, ¼ cup mozzarella, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  • Step 4

Spoon the cheese mixture into the wonton cups, filling them generously. Top each with Red Gold Mild Diced Tomatoes + Green Chilies, a spoonful of Red Gold Tomato Sauce, and the remaining Gruyère and mozzarella.

  • Step 5

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the wonton edges turn golden brown.

  • Step 6

Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh cilantro or extra jalapeño slices, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
