ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce, plus more to make the sauce
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Wonton wrappers, as needed
  • Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce, to taste
  • Toasted panko breadcrumbs, for topping
  • Parsley flakes, for garnish

Method

  • Step 1

In a bowl, mix together the ground chicken, Italian seasoning, oregano, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, tomato sauce, and salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 2

Add about 1 tablespoon of filling to the centre of each wonton wrapper. Add a bit of water to the edges with your finger and fold the wrapper over the filling to create a “half moon”. Press the edges so it’s sealed tight.

  • Step 3

Then, grab both ends (the opposite of the seam) and bring them together.

  • Step 4

To a pan on medium heat, add a splash of oil. Once hot place the dumplings into the pan. Add a ½ cup of water and cover for 10 minutes (or until all of the water is fully evaporated).

  • Step 5

In a separate bowl, mix equal parts of tomato sauce and Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Chili Sauce and season to taste.

  • Step 6

To serve, add some of the sauce to the base and place the dumplings on top.

  • Step 7

Top with toasted Panko breadcrumbs, extra parmesan cheese, and parsley before serving.
