ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli, roughly chopped
- 2 boxes Annie's Organic Shells & Real Aged Cheddar
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Step 2
Steam the broccoli for 8 minutes. Remove cooked broccoli from the pot and finely chop into small pieces.
Step 3
Prepare the Annie’s mac and cheese according to the directions on the box
Step 4
Mix the broccoli into the prepared mac and cheese and pour everything into a glass 8x8 baking dish.
Step 5
Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over the mac and cheese in the baking dish.
Step 6
In a small pot over medium low heat, melt the butter and gently mix in breadcrumbs until toasted. In a separate bowl mix the breadcrumbs with the parmesan and paprika. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the mac and cheese in the baking dish.
Step 7
Bake for 20 minutes until top is crunchy and golden brown.
