"Tis the season for apple tarts. Not that I'm baking any just yet. I'm so desperate to move back into our house I can't stand it...I miss my kitchen beyond words. And when I get back in it one of the first things I'm going to do (after setting up our nursery!!) is order pink apples & wild mushrooms from @mikuniwildharvest. I have this muscatel vinegar (my new favorite vinegar...move over sherry) I've been dying to try with mushrooms & ricotta gnudi, and I've been dreaming of these rosey apples all year. "
