ingredients
- 300 grams Flattened Rice
- 2 pieces Onion
- 4 pieces Garlic cloves
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Sugar
- 1 teaspoons Garam Masala powder
- 1 teaspoons Lime juice
- Curry leaves
- 1/2 teaspoons Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 teaspoons Cumin seeds
- 1/2 cups Fried peanuts
Method
Step 1
Wash flattened rice. Spread them on a plate. Sprinkle pinch of turmeric powder and salt on them. Coat well.
Step 2
Pour oil in pan. Temper with cumin seeds, mustard Seeds. As they splatter, put curry leaves in pan. Chop onion and garlic cloves. Put them in pan.
Step 3
Once onion slices turn golden, add Flattened Rice in pan. Add salt and sugar to taste. Mix everything. Cook in low flame for few minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle 1 Tsp Garam Masala powder and mix. Pour lime juice from top. Add fried peanuts and toss again. Serve hot.
