  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1 (23.5 ounce) can Muir Glen Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce
  • 8 ounces shredded Italian blend cheese

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 12 cup muffin tin with olive oil spray.

  • Step 2

    Over medium heat, add olive oil to a pan. Add garlic, onion and sausage and cook until the sausage is no longer pink.

  • Step 3

    In a separate bowl, crack the egg and whisk in the ricotta cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 4

    Line each muffin tin with one wonton wrapper (make sure that you push it all the way down).

  • Step 5

    On top of the wonton wrapper, layer the following: Muir Glen pasta sauce, sausage onion garlic mixture, ricotta and egg mixture, followed by shredded Italian cheese.

  • Step 6

    Put another wonton wrapper on top and push it down. Repeat the layers from above.

  • Step 7

    Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sides are slightly browned.

  • Step 8

    Dip the Lasagna Muffins in warm Muir Glen Pasta Sauce.
