I can’t believe I’m saying this but onion bread is wayyy better then garlic bread!
It’s so crunchy, sweet, salty and sooo buttery! What more could you possibly want?!😌

ingredients
- 1 large ciabatta
- 350 grams shallots, peeled
- Oil to coat the shallots
- 1 stick vegan butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Black pepper
Method
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 200c / 400 f.
Step 2
Add the peeled shallots into a pot and cover with oil. Fry on medium low head until golden on the outside and soft on the inside.
Step 3
Chop them up and place in a bowl (keep the onion oil in a jar for later).
Step 4
Add the butter, parsley, salt & pepper and mix well.
Step 5
Slice the ciabatta in half and place on a baking tray.
Step 6
Spread the butter mixture on each slice and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the bread in golden and crispy.
Step 7
Slice using a sharp knife and ENJOY!
