We are so excited to share that earlier this month we hosted our first-ever event at FeedfeedLA on behalf of our friends at Simple Mills!   In the spirit of the approaching holidays, new friends and community and sharing a moment of gratitude for our good health and good fortune, we celebrated with a special Friendgiving dinner at our new table in downtown LA.

What was so much fun about hosting this meal in partnership with Simple Mills was that we got to serve a 100% inclusive, traditional holiday meal from start to finish, thanks to the savory and sweet range in Simple Mills’ suite of products.

As guests entered our new LA space, they snacked on our crudites grazing board, with Simple Mills Almond Flour and Simple Mills Sprouted Seed Crackers, plus a fig & honey flatbread made with Simple Mills’ Almond Flour Pizza Dough Mix. We served this Veggie Tray (below) which looked gorgeous on our Caesarstone White Empira Surface!  They then helped us fill out our gratitude tree by creating ornaments with single word sentiments to ground thoughts of gratitude. (What would your word be??) We also let loose our festive and creative spirits at our wreath making station, where guests made original creations to take home to kick off the holidays!

Before digging into dinner, wellness expert Sophie Jaffe led us through a gratitude affirmation before the meal.  One of our favorite takeaways? To look at each other - vs our phones - to help fill our hearts with gratitude.  Another of our blessings that evening was, of course, delicious the meal itself! Anchored by an herb-roasted turkey, it was impossible to choose a favorite of the classics we made using Simple Mills’ products - between the Mushroom & Herb Stuffing with Simple Mills’ Artisan Bread Mix, Green Bean Casserole with Simple Mills’ Farmhouse Cheddar Almond Flour Crackers and Lentil & Sweet Potato Casserole with Simple Mills’ Cracked Black Pepper Almond Flour Crackers everything was a hit.  We also couldn’t get enough of the Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownie Tart featuring both Simple Mills’ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and Brownie Mix!

Following dinner, guests mingled with new and old friends alike and relaxed after an evening of great food and company - an all-inclusive evening in more ways than one.  We are so glad to have worked in conjunction with Simple Mills to bring this fantastic Friendsgiving evening to life!
