  • 400 grams halloumi cheese, cut into large chunks
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup Lee Kum Kee Sriracha Mayo, plus more as needed

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  • Step 2

    Place the eggs in a bowl. In a second bowl, place the flour. In a third bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs and the sesame seeds.

  • Step 3

    Coat the halloumi pieces in the flour. Then dip the halloumi in the eggs and finally in the panko mixture. Press on the panko so it adheres well.

  • Step 4

    Place the halloumi pieces on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  • Step 5

    Serve the halloumi bites with the sriracha mayo. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
