Recipe Card


  • 2 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1/3 cup plant based milk
  • 3 eggs
  • Coconut yogurt, to serve


  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 8-inch square cake pan with parchment paper.

  • Step 2

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flours, coconut sugar, instant coffee, salt, and baking powder.

  • Step 3

    In another large bowl, whisk together the vanilla extract, coconut oil, plant milk and eggs until smooth.

  • Step 4

    Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir until just combined. Pour into prepared cake pan and bake for 30 mins or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
