ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (14 ounce) jar EPIC Homestyle Savory Chicken Bone Broth
- 1-2 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves, plus more for garnish
Method
Step 1
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Season chicken well with salt and pepper.
Step 3
When the skillet is very hot, (test by dropping a drop of water, if it bubbles, its ready) add the chicken thighs. Let them cook undisturbed for about 8-10 minutes.
Step 4
When they are caramelized they will release easily from the pan to flip. Flip and repeat on the other side.
Step 5
Sprinkle with the rosemary and pour ½ of the bone broth over top. The broth will sizzle and deglaze the pan.
Step 6
Continue cooking and stir to remove brown bits from the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
Step 7
Slowly add the remaining broth and stir until it becomes thick and syrupy. This will take about 4-5 minutes.
Step 8
Plate the chicken and pour over the sauce from the pan. Sprinkle with additional rosemary.
