Berry Gin Sour

"I’ve never been too into clear liquor drinks, and gin always seemed way too...classy for me? 🤦🏻‍♀️ So herbaceous and entirely too European for my American palate. Luckily, palates change, and this pretty honey-infused Berry Gin Sour completely turned me around!"

  • 1/4 cup blueberries, and/or blackberries
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 2 ounce Barr Hill Gin
  • 1 egg white
  • Edible flowers, for garnish, optional


  • Step 1

    Muddle berries, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add crushed ice and shake 1 minute to chill. Strain into glass, discard ice/pulp, then return juice to shaker. Add gin and egg white; dry shake for 1 minute.

  • Step 2

    Strain into coupe glass, garnishing with edible flowers if desired.
