ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup basil leaves
- 1/2 (ounce) lime juice
- 1 (ounce) basil, simple syrup
- 1 1/5 (ounce) vodka
- 2 (ounce) peach juice
- Champagne, for topping
Method
Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and water. Stir until dissolved and then remove from heat and add basil leaves. Let infuse for 30 mins and then strain syrup.
Step 2
For each drink, combine lime juice, 1oz basil simple syrup, vodka, peach juice & shake over ice. Pour into glass and top off with champagne. Garnish with basil and fresh peaches. Enjoy!!
