ingredients

  • 3/4 cup gluten-free oat flour
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter, any nut butter works
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • splash of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons arrowroot flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Method

  • Step 1

    Mix everything together in a bowl, be careful not to overmix the batter.

  • Step 2

    Heat and grease a waffle maker (I used a mini waffle maker and haven’t tested in a regular waffle maker yet!)

  • Step 3

    Add batter, be careful not to overfill. Cook according to the timer on the waffle machine.

  • Step 4

    Once done, finish with your favorite topping. I used caramelized banana and maple syrup!
