ingredients
- 1 box Annie's Shells & White Cheddar Mac & Cheese
- 2 tablepoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablepoons milk
- 2 pieces of bacon, up to 3 pieces
- 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
Method
Step 1
Prepare Annie's Shells & White Cheddar Mac & Cheese according to the packaging instructions. Set aside.
Step 2
Cook bacon in a pan over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan and dice into small pieces.
Step 3
Add breadcrumbs directly into the pan with the bacon fat, continuously stirring to cook for 2-3 mins or until browned.
Step 4
Stir bacon bits into the mac and cheese until well combined. Transfer to a serving dish and top with breadcrumbs. Serve immediately.
