One of the reasons I’ve been quiet is that I’ve been working on a project that I believe strongly in, something I think will make Asian food more accessible as well as provide a strong community. The mission was born from my (and my partners’) experiences as Asian Americans living many culturally-induced identity crisis: assimilation vs appropriation, family vs individualism, Panda Express vs home-cooked meals. So we’re setting out to make it easy for anyone to access authentic, quality Asian ingredients and experiences (think starter dumpling kits, etc!!).
