12 baby potatoes
2 tablespoons neutral oil such as canola oil

3/4 cup sour cream or crème fraiche

Cut potatoes in half crosswise. Cut a thin slice off each half to help the potatoes to stand right on the plate. Turn potatoes in neutral oil and add salt and pepper. Bake the potatoes for about 15- 20 minutes at 400 ° F(depending on size) or until golden.
